BIO
Formed in 2015, we're a bunch of mates who've played together in various “serious" bands over the past 30 years and we just wanted to do something different, and more fun. Inspired by the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, the MIGHTY LEMONS also believe that all genres of music are available for reinterpretation, as long as they are played on the ukulele. Unlike the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, we believe ukuleles should be played standing up, pulling shapes. Since then we have brought our special brand of entertainment to many events across the south including Yateley's Gig On The Green, Bristol Ukulele Festival, Phoenix Green Music Festival, the Wilton Beer Festival, the Guildford Cheese & Chilli Festival and we have headlined the Southdowns Ukulele Festival, Hayling Island Ukulele Festival, the Blackwater Valley Beer & Wine Festival and the fabulous Box Ukulele Festival on several occasions. |
