A Short
Service

Our local Church will open proceedings with a short service to commemorate the Queen's position as head of the Church of England. 
Celebrate her Majesty's amazing achievement of being our Monarch for 70 years.
A short service in the marquee will start the proceedings at 14:00 which will be followed by  the raising of the Union Flag. 

Cream
​Teas

Cream Teas will be served in the Marquee all afternoon from 14:30 and we can continue the debate of how to serve the cream and jam.
Licensed Bar opens at 14:30 until 23:00

Pimms & Prosecco

As the summer begins there cannot be a more fitting and very English way to celebrate than to have a glass or two of Pimms or raising a glass of Prosecco.  This will be available from 14:30

Entertainment
& Beacon​

Throughout the afternoon and evening there will be a variety of entertainment.   Following the Cream Tea afternoon, Coronation Chicken and Jacket Potatoes will be served from 18:30
​with a performance from our very own Langport Mummers @ 20:00
We will do our best to follow the National timescale on our build up to the Beacon Lighting with the playing of Di Regnare @ 21:09 
We aim to light our Beacon @ 21:15
This will be followed by music and fun until 23:00

The Beacon Lighting will be carried out by Christine Bowman in memory of John. We will applaud John for 1 minute to show our appreciation of what he and Christine have done for our village.
